THE INTRODUCTION OF MODERN TECHNOLOGIES
The International University has everything what is necessary to organize educational process in the most
effective way. Lecture rooms and computer classes are equipped according to the latest technical requirements,
and the extensive library includes our own scientific developments and author's textbooks as well as educational
literature and fiction.
The International University is the only high school of Saint Petersburg where at lectures the unique technology
of teleportation is applied. This technology allows to present 3D-videoconferences with the effect of presence of
the removed interlocutor.
How does it work?
The image of the lecturer is projected on the glass screen, creating the effect of his presence on a
background of surrounding interior. Teleportation is carried out on the high-speed channel and that’s why
the image moves in real time and is simultaneously translated. As a rule, there is a screen of the data for
the review of graphics and video clips near the lecturer.
As a result the feeling of the real size of the image is created, the audience sees the lecturer in actual
size and his voice sounds completely synchronous to the video image - as if he was there and addressed directly to students.
Teleportation at The International University
The Technology offers wide opportunities for remote training. 3D-videoconferences with participation of
lecturers from all over the world are regularly scheduled at the International University. For this purpose
the special conference hall is supplied with the teleportation equipment, and all our students according to
their wish can attend VIP - lectures of leading experts from Moscow or lecturers from high schools - partners
of our University. The technology of teleportation allows our students to observe a lecture, to ask questions
and to carry on a real dialogue with a lecturer.
