RUSSIAN AS FOREIGN LANGUAGE

The language center " Lingua Vita " exists at the International University which offers a curriculum " Russian as foreign language "
for foreign students. There is a number of educational branches for pupils with various level of preparation.
Russian for beginners
It is a special course is designed for 3 months for studying language from the beginning up to the level pre-/low-intermediate (Â1/Â1 + on the
European portfolio) and intended for a wide range of students.
Russian for businessmen
Special course for the foreigners working in Russia. Within the framework of this course training at the level of
the business intercourse is carried paying attention to the specificity of the branch in which a student works. Students
can attend classes according to the individual schedule.
Russian on distance
It is a computer course of Russian language in the view of a videoconference with a method of visual, linguistic models
for students who for some reasons can’t personally attend classes.
Preparation for passing the state test
At present time the test represents the system of certificated levels of the general knowledge
of Russian as foreign language, which gives certain opportunities:
- Basic level (for receiving the citizenship of the Russian Federation)
- The first certificated level (necesary for the entrance the first year of the institutions of the Russian - Federation)
- The second certificated level (for the diploma of higher education in non-humanitarian specialities)
- The third certificated level (for the diploma of higher education in humanitarian specialities)
- The fourth certificated level (entitles to teach Russian as foreign language)
Training of students is conducted individually or in small groups in 6 - 8 person. The course
of language training includes also living in a Russian family and excursion activities The program of
training corresponds to the standards and requirements of the European language portfolio.
