The faculty carries out preparation of students on a cycle of humanitarian and social - economic disciplines. According to the State educational standard the philosophy, domestic history, cultural science, jurisprudence, political science, sociology, psychology and pedagogics are taught on the faculty. According to the choice of students such disciplines, as research of social and economic processes, ethics, an aesthetics, logic are studied.

The faculty of management and enterprise activity is one of leading releasing faculties of the University in the speciality " Management of the organization ".

Distinctive feature of the faculty is the practical orientation of student's degree works and their subsequent application in various branches of economy. According to the results of 2004/2005 43 % of degree works of the faculty are accomplished under applications of the enterprises and the organizations and are recommended to introduction at the enterprises of real sector of economy of Saint Petersburg and in the organizations of hotel and tourist business.

The faculty of economy and finance occupies the central place among the faculties of the University. It is defined by the following circumstances:

• The faculty forms economic mind of students of the University no matter what speciality they study
• The faculty is releasing in a speciality " the Finance and the credit ".
• The faculty is the research center that gives teachers and students an opportunity for conducting scientific works.

The faculty constantly expands business ties with leading state and not state high schools, and also with the various budgetary and commercial organizations of our city.

Faculty of civil-law disciplines

The faculty of civil-law disciplines conducts teaching on 14 subject matters, among which civil, enterprise, commercial, international, private, family, hereditary, insurance right, the civil remedial and arbitration law and etc.

The experts with scientific degrees and ranks and experience in law machinery work in the faculty. The teachers of the faculty make reports at scientific conferences of various scale each year.

Faculty of criminal law disciplines

The faculty of foreign languages of the International University provides educational process of main language preparation of students of all faculties and specialities. Students are given the opportunity to study English, German and Spanish languages. During teaching courses the modern manuals published in Russia and in Britain are used, and educational process is supported by modern technical means. Also the program " Russian as foreign language " is conducted on the faculty.

Faculty of physical training and sports management

The faculty forms understanding of the role of physical training in development of a person and preparation of an expert, knowledge of bases of physical training and a healthy way of life, development and perfection of psychophysical abilities, self-determination in physical training, and also purchase of experience of use of physical and sports activity for achievement of the life and professional purposes. The basketball team of the International University is well - known in Saint Petersburg as it regularly wins leading places in city and regional matches.
